SV	Het geschiedde nu, als Achab deze woorden hoorde, dat hij zijn klederen scheurde, en een zak om zijn vlees legde, en vastte; hij lag ook neder in den zak, en ging langzaam.
WLC	וַיְהִי֩ כִשְׁמֹ֨עַ אַחְאָ֜ב אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֤ים הָאֵ֙לֶּה֙ וַיִּקְרַ֣ע בְּגָדָ֔יו וַיָּֽשֶׂם־שַׂ֥ק עַל־בְּשָׂרֹ֖ו וַיָּצֹ֑ום וַיִּשְׁכַּ֣ב בַּשָּׂ֔ק וַיְהַלֵּ֖ךְ אַֽט׃ ס
Trans.	wayəhî ḵišəmō‘a ’^aḥə’āḇ ’eṯ-hadəḇārîm hā’ēlleh wayyiqər^a‘ bəḡāḏāyw wayyāśem-śaq ‘al-bəśārwō wayyāṣwōm wayyišəkaḇ baśśāq wayəhallēḵə ’aṭ:

AC	כז ויהי כשמע אחאב את הדברים האלה ויקרע בגדיו וישם שק על בשרו ויצום וישכב בשק ויהלך אט {פ}
ASV	And it came to pass, when Ahab heard those words, that he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly.
BE	Hearing these words, Ahab, in great grief, put haircloth on his flesh and went without food, sleeping in haircloth, and going about quietly.
Darby	And it came to pass when Ahab heard these words, that he rent his garments, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly.
